Mini Biography

Tim Barlow was born on January 18, 1936 in Blackpool, Lancashire, England as Michael John Leigh Barlow. He is an actor, known for Hot Fuzz (2007), Les Misérables (1998) and Automata (2014), Doctor Who (1979)

Received advice about being an actor from Sir Laurence Olivier and Trevor Nunn (both former directors of the Royal National Theatre in London).
Left the army in 1969 to pursue a career in acting.
Has appeared in two different series based on Sherlock Holmes. He played a Russian Count in The Resident Patient episode of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Wilder in The Abominable Bride episode of Sherlock.
