Gareth David Lloyd plays the role of "Ianto Jones" a somewhat private character, whom none of the Torchwood team really know all that well. As the series progressed Ianto became a more integral part of the team, and felt that the captain needed him. The character crossed over into season four of "Dr. Who" for the two episodes "The Stolen Earth" & "Journey's End" to aid in the fight against the Daleks. Gareth David Lloyd's other appearances include "The Bill" and "Casualty".

Eve Pearce appeared as an old friend of Jack's, "Estelle" in the season one episode "Small Worlds". Estelle tells Gwen how she knew Jack's father and been in a relationship with him around WWII. She knows of the existence of fairies and gives a talk while sharing photographs of the Cottingley Fairies.

Pearce has an extensive filmography, appearing in over fifty different British TV series including "Taggart", "The Bill", "Agatha Christie: Poirot", "The 10th Kingdom", "Doctors", "Great Expectations"and "Funland". Meanwhile her film credits include "Quietus" (2009), and "Season of Mists" (2009).

Simon Poland voiced the season three entity known as "The 4-5-6". These aliens made a deal with the British government in 1965. They were known as the 4-5-6, because this was the frequency that they used.

Poland's filmography includes various movies including the 911 movie "United 93" (2006), "Spitfire" (1995), "Alien from LA" (1988) and "The Shadowed Mind" (1988). He also narrated on the "Planet Earth: The Future" series.

Camilla Power was a guest star in the season two episode 'From Out of the Rain', playing "Pearl". Pearl, the 'mermaid woman', was once part of a travelling company lead by 'The Ghostmaker'. The two managed to escape from an old film scene and into Cardiff. They started gathering audiences and stole the last breath from innocent people.

Camilla has appeared in a number of television series, including starring in crime series "Underworld"; "The Grand" for 10 episodes; "Slap! - Love, Lies and Lipstick"; 3 episodes as 'Scarlet' in "Manchild"; and, more recently, 18 episodes on "Waterloo Road". Power is also appearing in the flick "Tournament" set for a UK release in 2010.

Murray Melvin appeared in two episodes of season one as "Bilis Manger" a seemingly ordinary man owning a 1941 dance hall and shop named 'A Stitch in Time' who turns out to have time travelling abilities. Bilis uses his position to manipulate the Torchwood team into opening the Rift and releasing Abaddon from being chained.

Melvin has an extensive filmography including "Alfie" (1966), Stanley Kubrick's "Barry Lyndon" (1975), "Little Dorrit" (1988), "As You Like It" (1992), and "The Phantom of the Opera" (2004). His television series appearances include a starring role on sci-fi series "Starhunter" (2000), and an appearance on "The Avengers".

Caroline Chikezie guest starred in the season one episode 'Cyberwoman' as "Lisa", a former Torchwood One employee that was part-way through the conversion process of being turned into a cyberwoman. As Ianto's girlfriend he was hiding her in the Hub and striving to keep her alive. However, Lisa breaks free and it soon becomes clear that she has lost her humanity.

Caroline has appeared in a number of other television series including the popular US show "Supernatural", seven episodes as 'Elaine Hardy' on "Footballers' Wives", and "As If". Her film credits include the Charlize Theron starring sci-fi "Æon Flux" (2005) and fantasy flick "Eragon" (2006).

A recurring guest on the series, Kai Owen plays "Rhys Williams" the onscreen boyfriend to Gwen Cooper - unaware of her alliance or involvement with Torchwood in the beginning, he later discovered the truth after stumbling into one of their cases. During the series he proposed to Gwen, and they later married.

Owen has also appeared in the BBC television series, "Rocket Man" playing David 'Shiner' Owen. As well as doing guest appearances on "Casualty" and "Fun at the Funeral Parlour". We will be welcoming Kai Owen along to this event, as our Master of Ceremonies alongside our other MC Paul Jones.

The Hub 5 will be 10th Planet Events and Massive Events brings fifth event to celebrate the hit UK television series "Torchwood". The event will be held from Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd of October 2010. This unofficial convention aims to bring together fans of the series from across the country to meet some the show's stars and enjoy various events over the weekend. There will be activities each day from guest talks and photograph sessions to quizzes and late night parties.
 This event will take place in The Park Inn Hotel, Northampton for more information on this venue and room rates see our venue below. Registration will begin at 2pm and the Opening Ceremony will be at 7pm on the Friday evening!

This hotel is situated in the town centre of Northampton, and looks like it's going to be a great venue for this event. There is a 'Horns Bar & Restaurant' in the hotel as well as a health club, and high-speed internet access in every room. We have negotiated room rates with the hotel and these are as follows:
They have single, double and twin rooms. All rooms are £65 per room per night including bed and breakfast for the occupants. Room price is £65 irrespective of how many in room. Room rate applies to all nights Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
