EVE MYLES portrays the character "Gwen Cooper", a police-woman who witnesses Captain Jack at work, after investigation she discovers that he and his team are Torchwood - alien hunters. Despite her memories being wiped Gwen is lead back to Torchwood, & she joins the team. After Jack leaves, Gwen becomes the leader of Torchwood at the beginning of season two. Gwen's tumultous relationship with Jack and secrets of Torchwood lead her into an affair with Owen; but she later marries her long-term partner Rhys.
Eve also appeared in "Doctor Who" in 2005, playing 'Gwyneth' in "The Unquiet Dead" - and then later crosses over with her fellow Torchwood team for the 2008 season finale where the Doctor notes a remarkable connection between the two. Eve Myles has also appeared in the BBC Wales drama "Belonging", and done a guest appearance on the 2008 BBC series "Merlin."

Naoko Mori first appeared as scientist "Toshiko Sato" in "Aliens of London," an episode of the revived "Dr. Who" series, before being asked to reprise the part as a regular in the spin-off show "Torchwood." Prior to defending the Earth, Naoko was probably best known for her recurring part as Saffy's best friend Sarah in "Absolutely Fabulous," and she has guested in a string of series including "Manchild", "Casualty", "Spooks", "Judge John Deed" and "Mile High".

KIA OWEN A recurring guest on the series, Kai plays "Rhys Williams" the onscreen boyfriend to Gwen Cooper - unaware of her alliance or involvement with Torchwood in the beginning, he later discovered the truth after stumbling into one of their cases. During the series he proposed to Gwen, and they later married.
Owen has also appeared in the BBC television series, "Rocket Man" playing David 'Shiner' Owen. As well as doing guest appearances on "Casualty" and "Fun at the Funeral Parlour". We will be welcoming Kai Owen along to this event, as our Master of Ceremonies alongside our other MC Paul Jones.

TOM PRICE is a recurring guest star to the series, playing "PC Andy" - Gwen's former partner in the police. After Gwen leaves he believe she working in "Special Ops" and meets with her again, slightly jealous of her position when he discovers she is dealing with 'out of the ordinary' cases. Later PC Andy also admits to having a slight crush on Gwen, and is jealous of her partner Rhys.
Tom Price has also appeared on skecth show "Swinging" and will be appearing in the upcoming BBC sketch series "The Wrong Door". Price also appeared in the TV movie "The Scum Also Rises" alongside Red Dwarf's Chris Barrie.

The Hub 4
|
|
The Hub 4 planned for 2010, to celebrate the hit UK television series. The event will be held from Friday 9th - Sunday 11th of April 2010. This unofficial convention aims to bring together fans of the series from across the country to meet some the show's stars and enjoy various events over the weekend. There will be activities each day from guest talks and photograph sessions to quizzes and late night parties.

This hotel is situated in the town centre of Northampton, and looks like it's going to be a great venue for this event. There is a 'Horns Bar & Restaurant' in the hotel as well as a health club, and high-speed internet access in every room. We have negotiated room rates with the hotel and these are as follows:
