We are located

Travel to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel, next to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and 8 miles from central Birmingham. With easy access to the motorway network, the hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from Birmingham International Airport.

Getting to the hotel from Birmingham International Train Station

Courtesy Bus

From Birmingham International railway station, guests may use the free telephone to arrange a collection to the hotel, by courtesy bus. The journey to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel takes approximately 5 minutes. The 24-hour service runs at 30-minute intervals

Getting to the hotel from Birmingham International Airport

Car

From Birmingham International Airport, bear right onto Concorde Road, turn right onto Vanguard Road and then bear left onto Airport Way. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit then merge onto Coventry Road A45 (signposted M42, M6, M1, M40, M5, Coventry). Branch left (signposted M42, M6, M1, M40, M5, NEC), then at the roundabout take the first exit onto Pendigo Way (signposted NEC). At the roundabout take the first exit into the car park of the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel.

Courtesy Bus

Due to major security measures in force at Birmingham International Airport, we are no longer permitted to use our courtesy bus service direct to or from the airport. All hotel guests travelling from Birmingham airport should take the mono rail to Birmingham International railway station where we will be able to collect. Guests can use the free telephones in the airport or station to ask to be collected. The journey takes around 5 minutes and our courtesy bus runs every 30 minutes.

Getting to the hotel from Birmingham New Street Railway Station

Train

From Birmingham New Street Station, take the train to Birmingham International Station. The journey normally takes around 10-15 minutes depending on the time of day. At Birmingham International Station, use the courtesy telephone to ask for the hotel bus to pick you up. The journey from Birmingham International Station to Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel takes 5 minutes by courtesy bus. The 24-hour service runs every 30 minutes. Guests can use the free telephone in the airport to call the hotel and ask for the bus to collect them.

Courtesy Bus

From Birmingham International Train Station, free buses are available to take you directly to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. The journey normally takes around 10 minutes from the station to the hotel. If you are travelling from Birmingham Airport, please catch the free mono rail to the NEC Train station where you are able to take our courtesy bus. To book the bus,  please use the yellow free phone which is situated approximately 10 yards to the left of WH Smith, near the train platform.

Getting to the hotel from East Midlands Airport

Taxi

From East Midlands Airport, taxis are available to take you directly to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. The journey normally takes around 45 minutes from the airport to the hotel forecourt.

Car

From East Midlands Airport, turn left onto Viscount Road. At the roundabout take the 4th exit (signposted all routes A453). At the traffic lights turn left onto the A453 (signposted Nottingham). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A453. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit then merge onto the A42. At Junction 11 continue forward onto the M42. At Junction 8 of M42 take the right-hand lanes and continue on the M42. Leave the M42 at Junction 6, then at the roundabout follow signs for the NEC. At the roundabout take the exit onto Pendigo Way (signposted North and East car parks). At the next roundabout take the first exit into the car park at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel.
